Chelsea fans took to social media after the club’s humiliating 3-0 defeat to Newcastle and begged Roman Abramovich to sack Antonio Conte BEFORE their FA Cup final clash with Manchester United next Saturday. The Blues needed a win in the north-east and a slip-up from Liverpool to finish in the top four but an Ayoze Perez double either side of Dwight Gayle’s strike handed the Magpies all three points.

Chelsea take on Manchester United next Saturday at Wembley and the game is likely to be Conte’s final match in charge after a difficult second season at Stamford Bridge. However, supporters believe the squad have given up on Conte and want the Italian gone before next week’s final.

Conte made a number of changes to his side with the likes of Ross Barkley and Emerson Palmieri standing in for Marcos Alonso and Willian. The Italian will now need to rouse his squad before next week’s final at Wembley and he’ll be hoping it’s second time lucky after losing last year’s final to Arsenal.
