Woman ‘sent 159,000 text messages to man after he rejected her’

A woman allegedly sent a man 159,000 text messages after he rejected her.

Jacquelyn Ades, 31, is accused of subjecting a man to a campaign of stalking that also involved her breaking into his home and using his bath.

She also allegedly lied she was his wife after turning up to his workplace.

Police arrested her in Phoenix last May when they found her at his home and later discovered a butcher’s knife in her car.

It was initially reported Ades, from Florida, had sent the victim 65,000 texts in ten months but the number has risen to at least 159,000 after further checks by The Arizona Republic.

The threatening messages were said to have included one that said: ‘You do whatever you have to do to get here… but don’t ever try to leave me… I’ll kill you… I don’t want to be a murderer.’

Another one allegedly added: ‘I’d make sushi outta ur kidneys n chopsticks outta ur hand bones.’

Beautician Ades allegedly started stalking the man after they met on a millionaire dating site and went on one date.

The unnamed man, who is a CEO of a skincare products company, said he did not want to take it further but she apparently had different plans.

Ades is in jail awaiting trial next month on charges of of stalking and criminal trespassing after not being given bail.

She apparently told authorities she knew the victim was not interested in her and she didn’t want to hurt him despite sending the threatening messages she described as ‘funny’.

She added: ‘It’s OK if that’s how [he] feels,’ she said. ‘Somebody else should love him. He has so much to love. He’s so cute. I can’t believe I scared him.’
