Those are the thoughts of Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.
Ronaldo has been in sensational form in 2018, hitting 26 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid.
The Portuguese superstar has been locked in a constant battle over the past decade with Barcelona rival Lionel Messi.
He’s looking to capture his sixth Ballon d’Or and he could help Real lift their third Champions League trophy in a row.
Salah however, has rightly been receiving all the plaudits for his mesmerising performances.
The Egyptian hitman, who was crowned PFA Player of the Year last Sunday, has 43 goals to his name in 47 outings in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
This includes a stunning double in the first leg of the Reds’ 5-2 Champions League semi-final win over Roma.
But Neville doesn’t envisage Salah stopping Ronaldo from getting his hands on the award for a sixth time.
When asked on to compare Salah to Ballon d’Or rivals Ronaldo and Messi on Twitter, Neville wrote: “Only one winner = Cristiano.”
Salah will be looking to add to his Premier League goal tally when Liverpool host Stoke later today (12.30pm).
A win would lift them above Manchester United for at least 24 hours as they host Arsenal on Sunday (4.30pm).
