I’m not a football fanatic, I don’t even like football, but for the sake of Manchester I became a fan of football just for today .
Just for today I learn the strength and unity involved in football, I saw people scrambling to have a glimpse of who scores, not actually who played well.
I enjoyed the beautiful display of Ajax, who were 100% all over the field but after 90 Minutes, Manchester did it for us. At least we have something to celebrate after yesterday unfortunate incident.
Jack was the first person that called after the match… “We have won, we have won” he shouted. I couldn’t make any comments because I’m still here starring at man inhumanity to man, “The Manchester bombing” what is the motivation behind it? Why should people just rejoice in blowing up themselves so that other people Could die?
As I sit here in my room, I could still hear the shouting and the jubilation outside “Up Manchester! Up Manchester!!” they cried.
Surely, they can wound us, but they can’t break us… Thank you Ajax for a wonderful game, congratulations Manchester United, you did it for all of us.
